Dr. Jategaonkar is an otolaryngologist specializing in head and neck cancer surgery, skull base surgery, and microvascular reconstructive surgery based in Phoenix, Arizona. He serves as Vice‑Director of the Head & Neck Cancer Program and Director of Advanced Oncologic & Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of ENT & Skull Base at Barrow Neurological Institute. He earned his MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, completed his residency in otolaryngology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, and completed a fellowship in advanced head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. His clinical and research interests focus on minimally‑invasive and transoral approaches to head and neck cancers, as well as optimizing microvascular free tissue transfer techniques for reconstruction.
